What we do

             Since 1995, our creative team has worked together to help clients achieve the highest level of media production and market penetration.  From 1999-2003, under a previous name, we worked with over 120 clients in 18 states.  We have won numerous awards (including four Silver Microphone Awards and a Telly Award for Public Relations video).  Over the years we have honed our skills to provide our clients with exceptional product. 

To potential clients we offer the following consulting services:

Marketing/Advertising – Over the years we have gained countless hours of experience in assisting businesses of all sizes conducting market research and with developing marketing budgets, marketing plans, and multi-media marketing campaigns.  For the majority of clients that took our advice and implemented it, they saw an average growth in sales and revenue of 30%.  Our approach is consultative and individualized for each client.

Public Relations – What started out in 1999 as a mere secondary service provided to one client rapidly grew to our forte.  Since 1999 we have worked on countless public relations campaigns for non-profits, political candidates, rehabilitated convicted felons, hospitals, and environmental schools.  One such project undertaken for Pine Mountain Settlement School resulted in a Telly Award for our team and an environmental victory for our client.

Political Campaigns – We have taken part in local, regional, and State campaigns.  We have been working on political campaigns since 1999 and LOVE THEM!  And in turn our clients/candidates love us.  To political clients we offer:

Media Production – We understand that not all clients want a full multi-media marketing campaign. For clients that simply want to sample our creative expertise we offer individual production contracts for:

Business Development/Sales – Through BRM Business Development we undertake the sales process for our clients.  With 17 years of direct sales and business development experience, Travis Shortt works with our clients in training their existing sales force or in recruiting and training new sales forces. 

Media/Content Development – Through our subsidiary, Black River Films, we create media content for film, television, and entertainment.  We are currently involved in various stages of production on two documentaries; one television series; two music videos; and five feature films.  Our partnership with Lyons Entertainment allows us to take these concepts and then present them to the major decision makers within the film and television industry.

Publicity-Recently a new dimension of services was introduced for our clients.  Through Black River Promotions, Black River Media now offers publicist services for authors, screenwriters, artists, and musicians.

VFX - In September 2009, Black River Media launched Black River VFX to provide stunning and creative visual effects to the entertainment industry.  Currently some of our work can be seen on The Animal Planet’s Lost Tapes series.
